Spring is here (today)

This week has been a crazy crazy week at work. I won't get into details, but I had planned to stay until around 8:00 every night this week. Because that's what we did last year.

This year, though, we've got a better system in place and work that took us 3 days last year has taken us 1/2 of a day today! Basically, I had no clue what I was doing last year.

Stack that awesome speediness on top of the fact that it was above 60-degrees and sunny outside when I walked out of my office, and today has been an amazing day. My feet are tired from standing for 8 hours, but somehow that was cancelled out by breathing in the smells of spring while riding my bike home from work...somewhat cancelled out. The only thing that will fully cure my aching feet is the foot massage my hubby promised to give me when he gets home tonight.

When I got home, I had to open my front door to let in some fresh air after being trapped in a musty office all day long.

The weather today gives me hope that we will have a real spring this year (the last one we had was in 2009). When it does decide to show up, spring is my favorite season. The PNW is gorgeous in the spring.
