Inner Workings

I find it interesting that during the first year or two of our lives, all we want to do is get up and move. We strain and pull and stretch to achieve an upright position. And once you're up you shake and wiggle on uneasy, untrained muscles. But you do it. One day you're up and crawling, running, walking. Triumphant.

As a grownup, all I want to do is lie back down.
